Looking ahead

So, things are still quiet on the crafting front. I'm having some serious problems with the whole arm/shoulder/back thing, but I've switched over to a new specialist and hopefully she'll actually be able to diagnose me and help me get better. But my guess is that I'm probably off of the crafting until somewhere around the end of the year. Which is a shame. I mean, besides being in pain, I can't really do much, so it would be great if I could at least knit. But no.

And let me tell you, all this time to think about knitting and sewing, but not being able to actually knit or sew...I've got plans for projects. Lots of plans. Plans, plans, plans. There's a shawl I want to knit, sweaters, scarves, socks. Yeah, I'm craving my first pair of socks. And I really wanted to knit my grams a Mobius vest for Christmas. My first EZ project. And of course, there is some quilting floating around in my mind too. Katie is having a baby boy! I know what quilt I want to make, and I've got some fabric choices made. I need to narrow it down to three yellow and three blue fabrics from these.

And look at this cute frog fabric I got. I think I'll use some of it for a border.

Oh, and I got a picture of baby Maddox on the Toad in a Puddle quilt. He's so cute.

He's got plenty of quilt to grow into. :)

And even though its a little late, here's a little eye candy for last friday. Not that I'll be keeping up with every Eye Candy Friday.

Love the picture of the baby on your precious quilt. By any chance, were the parents inspired by Angelina in the naming of the baby?
